WOW OK, came after a pity party I threw for myself. There are moments where you might find your feelings are in a loop, trapped in a cycle of negative thinking. If that happens to you, throw yourself a pity party.
WOW OK will be on view at Texas’s Vignette, celebrating women artists across the state of Texas. I am honored to be one of the 55 artist selected.
More work will be on view in a forthcoming show October of 2025.
Giving sketchbook pages new life
In the fall of 2022 I moved into a new studio in West Dallas. Being surrounded by other Dallas artists, graffiti spaces, and working as a High School teacher has influenced me to try new media and think about old ideas. Currently I’m working to convert sketchbook drawings into paintings, which is a new medium for me. These are people who have lived in my sketchbook. I hope you like them.
